This program is divided into two; the first part is the STRENGTH component where athletes lift weights using techniques found in Olympic lifting, Power Lifting and Bodybuilding. The main goal to become stronger overall and to increase muscle tone in different parts of the body. During this part of the class athletes are guided to methodically perform movements such as Squats, Bench Press, Deadlifts, Clean and Jerks, Snatches. There are specific days where gymnastic skills are also implemented like Muscle Ups, Hand Stands, Pull Ups, etc.
The second part is the CONDITIONING component where athletes complete different and varied hi-intensity exercise routines with the goal of safely and methodically push their bodies to new limits in order to improve their cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
The 1-hour class usually consists of: Warm up with dynamic stretching, Strength Work / Skill, Conditioning (WOD), Cool Down.
